Charlie Hugo offers a variety of personal training services - from one-on-one training for general purposes to training regimens highly targeted to get you ready for an athletic competition such as a triathlon, cycling race or 10K.

Development of Customized Fitness Programs
Depending on your goals, I'll develop a workout program that spans weeks or months to help you achieve your goals. No plan looks the same. These customized programs can be created for general fitness, for an athletic competition or to maintain fitness despite having a chronic illness or injury. In many cases, your fitness program will incorporate one-on-one personal training and recommendations for activities that you can do yourself to help speed the process.

Kim P. - Cyclist/General Fitness
After developing an IT band injury, I started training with Charlie - who developed a program that accommodated my injury and allowed me to keep training. Not only did I complete America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride of 100 miles, but my time was faster than what I thought I could do.

One-on-One Personal Training
Workouts tend to be one-on-one, and in one-hour increments - as many times a week as you want. When you arrive for your session, I'll be ready with detailed workout notes. You'll begin immediately and be working out and moving fast throughout the session. One of the reasons that you can pack so much exercise into the personal training hour is that I keep you moving while setting up your next piece of equipment or activity. This results in a workout where A LOT of exercise is packed into one hour.

Nutrition counseling
Although I'm not a certified nutritionist, my many years of experience in training and coaching have given me many insights into how to eat for healthy weight loss, muscle building, endurance training and more.

Courtney D. - General Fitness
I served as a free-lance restaurant critic for six years and in the final month before I resigned from reviewing, I had to eat five enormous, multi-course dinners, and also was assigned to "research" five different breakfast burritos, five burgers, five cinnamon rolls, five pizzas and five orders of spaghetti and meatballs. With that kind of calorie intake, I turned to Charlie to help me hold the line on the "battle of the bulge." I have since resigned as a reviewer and Charlie is now helping me carve off excess pounds and get me back to the shape I was in before I took on this position.
